February 06, 2024 || Social Islami Bank Arranged “School Banking Campaign” in Cumilla Zilla School
Social Islami Bank arranged a school banking campaign in Cumilla Zilla School on 4 February 2024 as part of its month-long campaign across the country. Khondokar Md. Mushfiqur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner & District Magistrate of Cumilla, was present as chief guest while Abdul Hannan Khan, Deputy Managing Director, presided over the program. Mohammad Abdul Hafeez, Head Teacher of Cumilla Zilla School, Joynal Abedin, Head of BCD, Abdul Hamid, Cumilla Zonal Head, Md. Moniruzzaman, Head of Brand Communication, Md. Abdul Quader, Manager of Cumilla Branch, and teachers & students of the school were also present there.
Khondokar Md. Mushfiqur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner & Learned District Magistrate of Cumilla, praised the initiatives of the Bank and said that this would create savings habit among the youth from early age.
During his address to the students, Deputy Managing Director Abdul Hannan Khan emphasized the opportunity to save money from their daily tiffin expenses. He highlighted the convenience of having a bank account at their fingertips, as Social Islami Bank has now reached their doorstep. Khan encouraged students to open an account, enabling them to save money received from gifts, stipends, and setting aside a portion from their tiffin allowances. Stressing the importance of cultivating the habit of saving from an early stage in life, he provided practical advice for financial responsibility.
