Mr Abdul Awal Patwary, Chairman and Mr. Nasiruddin & Mr. Sayedur, Vice Chairmen of SIBL

Distinguished Businessman and Industrialist Mr. Abdul Awal Patwary has been unanimously elected as the Chairman of Social Investment Bank Limited (SIBL) in its 157th meeting of the Board of Directors held on 27th September, 2007. Alhaj Nasiruddin and Mr. Sayedur Rahman have been elected as Vice Chairmen, Mr Humayun Kabir Khan and Munshi Akhtaruzzaman have been elected Executive Committee Chairmen and Mr Kamaluddin Ahmed has become Chairman of Board Audit Committee.

Mr. Abdul Awal Patwary is the Chairman of Patwary Group of Companies, Patwary Cold Storage Ltd., Patwary Potato Flakes Ltd., Greentech Green House Bangladesh Ltd. and Managing Director of Foysal Shopping Complex Ltd. He is operating business successfully for last twenty five years in various sectors principally as potato flakes industry, Ocean going and Inland Shipping Line , Garments, cold Storage, Petro Pump, Shopping Complex, Hotel and Restaurant, Export and Import. He is widely traveled. He is a great social worker and associated with many philanthropic organizations.

Alhaj Nasiruddin is a leading businessman and industrialist of the country. He is the Proprietor of Nasim Trading Company and Chairman of Northern General Insurance Ltd. He is a philantropist and a social worker.He has widely traveled around the world.

Mr. Sayedur Rahman is the Managing Director of Lodestar Fashions Ltd. and Mid Asia Fashions Ltd. He is related with many social organizations.
