Distinguished  Businessman  and  Industrialist  Alhaj  Sultan  Mahmood  Chowdhury    has  been  unanimously  elected  as  the  Chairman  of  Social  Islami  Bank  Limited  (SIBL)  in  its  215th  meeting  of  the  Board  of  Directors  held  on  13th  April,  2010.  Alhaj  Sk  Rabban  Ali  and  Mrs.  Zohra  Alam  have  been    elected  as  Vice  Chairmen  ,  Mr.  Abdul  Awal  Patwary  and  Mr.  Kamaluddin  Ahamed  have  been  elected  Executive  Committee  Chairmen  and  Major  (Rtd)  Dr.  Rezaul  Haque    has  become  Chairman  of  Board  Audit  Committee.    



 

Alhaj  Sultan  Mahmood  Chowdhury  is  a  distinguished  Businessman  and  Industrialist  of  North  Bengal.  He  is  the  Chairman  of  Progati  Group  of  Industries.  He  is  a  founder  Director  of  SIBL.  He  is  a  renowned  philanthropist,  he  is  the  President  of  many  schools,  colleges  and  Madrasas.  He  is  widely  traveled.  





 Alhaj  Sk  Mohammad  Rabban  Ali  is  a  leading  businessman  and  industrialist  of  the  country.  He  is  a  founder  Director  of  SIBL.  He  is  the  Managing  Director  of  Rabbani  Trading  Comapny  Ltd.,  Shama  Poly  Yarn  Industries  Ltd.,  Shamlon  Industries  Ltd.  and  Safreen  Tex  Ltd.    He  is  a  philanthropist  and  a  social  worker.He  has  widely  traveled  around  the  world.  





Mrs.  Zohra  Alam  is  a  distinguished  business  personality,  industrialist  and  social  worker  of  the  country.  She  is  involved  in  many  business  and  industrial  ventures.  She  is  a  founder  Director  of  SIBL.
